*Paper Boat

Source: the girl, and the boat. Edited by me.

Once upon a time,
sailed away my childhood dreams,
in a paper boat.

It wasn't strong enough to
hold my careless dreams, thus sank
into river Hope!

For a glimpse, I still
visit once in a while, for
I miss the Me!

I lost the child, me,
somewhere in the horizon,
where darkness meets light!

I still count to three,
For I believe in evil,
who snatched off my dreams!

  4. I admire the way you write...brilliant expressions !
Feelings are running very deep here...there is a hint of sadness...
But even if somebody snatches away those dreams ...reclaim them and restore them...you have that power.
    take care,

  7. Thoroughly enjoyed this! Growing up, or distancing ourselves from our childhood can be so frightening. Sometimes I just wish for it.

  8. interesting. So u believe in evil or its just the words?

nice picture, just brings back memories when we'd make those paper boats and sail them in small ponds during rains.

    1. The words are my emotions, so yes, I believe in evils.

Yeah, I loved to make those paper boats out of sheets, tearing from my class book!
