*Here SHE comes..

"Leaving on a jet plane" I love this song. I listened to it while I got ready today in the morning. I took almost 20 minutes to get dressed! I was too colorful today :D (yesterday I mean, cos am writing this post for over an hour, blame multitasking)

Its sashti i.e the sixth day of Durga Puja, and so being a bong, I too partied like one! No, not party in that sense, but we hanged out! I hope you know all these terms as I assume you are an Indian or at least someone who knows what Google is ;) Jokes apart! Well, I am not a big fan of crowd places, but I like to see unknown people once in a while!

Went out in the morning, or I better say afternoon, no morning sounds perfect cos I woke up at 10 am :P

I wore this kurti that I went to buy alone, well the shopping was not a planned one as I already mentioned here but couldn't get a pic that time, so here's me. The toughest thing that I did today was I wore a lot of bangles, which I never did in my life! I wore lipstick, a pink one, that too a bright pink from colorbar, I wore this neon nail color lime margarita from colorbar! I was in a full festive mood anyway. Okay enough of my blabbering! I will let the pictures do the talking while I take rest and dream about surreal things!

Okay, so that's all I had to share today!

  11. I receive much joy, knowing you are aware of--realize--that you are experiencing new things like shopping alone (but surrounded with thousands of Peeps. IOWs, growing up! And having fun while doing that!

AND, you are a fine photographer already. You must enjoy that. If so, learn all there is to know, about it. Of course experience is best teacher, but lots of fine points also. I like to go back in archives and see your work, and read you "young girl" thoughts.

No, it does not bring back my youth, but it makes me happy to see freshness, vitality and ENTHUSIASM which you show.

Last, I wish to thank you for traveling 8,000 miles (computer-to-computer) to visit my blog and for leaving a comment. And I have a present for you, a parody: Just click HERE
    Hope to "see" you again
    PEACE!

    1. Hello Steve,
I am feeling extremely happy after reading your feedback. It just proved that nothing is impossible in this world, ha ha, I loved how you said 8,000 miles(computer-to-computer)! I gave a genuine feedback on your post and am glad you liked my response, I really do hope to "see" you again here as well, I will check your blog soon because you are DIFFERENT!

Thanks for the parody, ha ha, I like leaving on a jet plane anyway, but lets listen to this one for a change.

P:S always remember, OLD is GOLD, nobody is young or old, its just in the mind, the way you think makes you that, so think young and stay young at heart! Take care.

  12. Please, not to bore you DA...but since you probably do not go back to visit where you commented, I am copying to you the response I wrote to your comment on my blog:

"Ma'am, you picked out the essence of what I was thinking. Congratulations. Now I have visited your blog and your photographs--you are GoooD! And Kolkata, India! And Angels! OMG, and age 20....

My special "Guardian Angel" I named Flex--short for Flexible, which it must be to help me--grin! He has been with me, pulling me away from the flames for 79½ years. You might consider to give your angels names, otherwise when you talk with one of them, how do they know which one? Hmmm? I am serious about that....

Also, on your blog, I sent you a special gift, since you like the song "On a Jet Plane" so much. Hope you like it!!!!

So I wish for you PEACE Dark Angel!

  14. I love this post so much, beautiful photographs of Ma Durga and I can see the excitement in your eyes, wearing a new dress, new bangles and the Puja spirit...I can feel it in your photographs ! The Devi Ma idols that you have captured are so cute, really ! I love the cute/tribal faced/folk art Devi Ma faces compared to the more serious traditional ones :)) The faces of Devi Maa are changing over the years !
I can see that someone is making cotton candy ! If I am not wrong. and that chandelier is gorgeous !
I love your green kurti and nail colors and your overall ethnic look, You are looking great !
    Your friend/sister in the first picture in black and white outfit is so sweet looking { I hope she won't mind me saying that }
